Think I watched this about 6 months ago and I'm still not quite ready for a re-run yet.. Very very dark and fucked up, which is exactly how I felt after watchin it.. All that aside, highly recommended..

Couldn't agree more Phil, the french are up there with the Japanese for fucked up cinema imo. This is a dark and twisted film, cruel and sadistic. It delivers the point in the end, 7.5/10.

Apparently there is a point where when tortured and dying for something you believe that you "see" the other side, what you "see" I dont know, Gods face? Heaven? Hell? its a mystery and you know what I'm fine with that. Not these nutters in this, oh no sir, they go beyond. Brutal to the extreme but still a very worthwhile film. I am really starting to wonder if there is something in the French water.
