Gladiator (2000) - 10/10
Watched this again last night for the first time in a few years. It's just simply amazing. The story, cast, special effects all 10/10 scores. This imo is the best acting performance Russell Crowe has ever pulled off, I don't think he will ever top the greatness of Maximum Meridius. 10/10.

Epic. Thats really the only way to describe this. Surely one of the great man films of all time. I dont care that its historically inaccurate, I dont care that there was never a Maximus, I couldnt give a shit that mainly the Romans where a bunch of utter cunts, sure they spoke Latin and invaded everyone but fuck me they know how to do a decent story :-) If your not off your seat cheering for Maximus at the end on the first watch though there is something seriously wrong with you.

Maximus Decimus Meridius, or Mac10 as he was known in the underground hip-hop scene, is one macho bastard. He literally throws swords at people. How fucking cool is that? What an epic film. Unfortunately his rap skills don't get any coverage in the feature length cut.
