Blue Valentine (2010) - 7/10
This is about young love, bad decisions, family, growing old and resentment. Ever wondered why your mum hates your dad so much? Or why you dad insists on half a bottle of whisky every night after work? Well this might give you a fairly good insight. At 16 you've got all the potential in world and then next thing, all at once, you're middle aged and you hate your life. This is one of those excellent films which isn't exactly enjoyable to sit through.
