This is a film about a father and son bonding and how only the threat of death will make them truly appreciate one another. I don't know why they didn't just have a beer together whilst watching the footy and telling each other racist jokes; that's how most blokes bond. James Cameron just likes using other people's money to investigate shit he finds interesting, like the Titanic, huge fucking caves, and, err, big blue tree-hugging aliens...
