You shouldn't always believe everything that comes out of the mouth of a politician, which is one of those bits of advice that you wish you knew when you were 18. Along with how you should always put your socks on before your pants, and how all women are lying, scheming bitches. Texans are an untrustworthy bunch of warmongering inbreds at the best of times, so put one in government and you get someone that tells more lies, and does more damage, than parents who tell their kids that everything will turn out ok.
