Before The Devil Knows You're Dead (2007) - 6/10
This is a film about shitting on your doorstep and why it's a particularly bad idea. Two brothers need cash and they decide to rob a suburban jewellery store to get it. You won't be surprised to hear that Philip Seymour Hoffman is outstanding, again. Nor that Marisa Tomei plays the role of a super-fit, mid 40's woman, again. This is a very real story about ordinary, hard working, desperate people taking a huge risk for financial gain. The timeline jumping is a little annoying, though.
