The Deer Hunter (1978) - 6/10
This film is on for 3 hours, so when I first saw it, as a teenager, I didn't really care for it much. It was just another film that grown-ups liked. I watched it again a while ago, but because it's on for 3 hours I might have lost my concentration again. I should really give it another watch, a proper watch. But, you know, it's on for 3 sodding hours!! Seriously though, an hour of pre-war, an hour of in the war, and an hour of post-war is a bit too much, if you ask me.

A timeless classic, I recently bought this for 2 quid in Asda or some other moneygrabbing supermarket.. 2 fuckin quid for this movie, I mean for that price, everybody should own this movie.. A powerful movie experience..

Amazing film..one of the most powerful and moving films i have ever seen, the bit were they play Russian Roulette was horrible..fuck me .
