Babylon (2022) - 4/10
Let's be clear, this film is much too fucking long. By some way, too. And then at the end - when your patience is truly exhausted - the director just starts adding uncessary scenes simply to take the piss out of you. I get it, you love the history of Hollywood, but fuck me. I am certain that had I watched this at home I'd have even fallen asleep or turned it off. A couple sat near to us in the cinema left after 45 minutes. It's that sort of film. However, I did cry laughing at one scene in roughly the middle and I look forward to seeing that bit of it again. Margot Robbie is in it but even she doesn't do it all that much for me in this film. She's a bit too crazy and crazy women like that terrify me. Avoid.
