The Batman (2022) - 6/10
I love a film with a twist and this has a great one at the end when you realise Colin Farrell plays the motherfucking Penguin. I'd spent most of the film racking my brains trying to think who it was but I just didn't get it. Anyway, it was a decent watch; a reimagining I'm sure they'll call it, but a cynic could just claim it's another Batman film except this time with a dash of Se7en thrown in and an Aldi cast. Don't get me wrong, they're all very good actors in their own right but not many of them the average Joe would recognise, except for Farrell, of course, but he spends the entire film looking like a melted candle, so, you know. I'm 100% sure I'll never watch it again.
