Hereditary (2018) - 4/10
I was recently complaining about how bad horrors are nowadays and someone recommended this to me as one of the good ones. I will never again listen to a word that person says. If you told me a group of stoned 14 year old boys wrote the script to this film, I would absolutely believe you. It starts off well but then goes totally off its tits and ultimately just doesn't make sense. It does, though, at least try to have a narrative - even if that narrative is all over the fucking place - unlike a lot of the shit horrors nowadays that reply purly on jump scares.
