This is about how politicians, corporations and bankers have played us - and each other - using mathematical models, psychology and propaganda to create an illusion of freedom based on our individual selfish desires which we have been coerced into complying with. Rather than greater freedom, the outcome has instead been greater control of the masses and more wealth for the very rich. It's an incredibly clever piece of work but what else would you expect from Adam Curtis? He's a fucking genius.
