2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) - 6/10
This film came out before man even landed on the fucking moon. That is just preposterous. It is so far ahead of its time and has cinematography that will stand up against pretty much anything released today. However, it does go pretty fucking bonkers, if I'm being honest. I'm almost certain that tabs of LSD must have been handed out with each admission ticket at the time. And I'm not entirely convinced the 20 minutes of narrate-less Attenborough footage is necessary at the start either.
