American Sniper (2014) - 6/10
We all know that America is about freedom, French fries and star quarterbacks fucking cheerleaders after football games in the back of their Buicks whilst the Star Spangled Ballet belts out from the radio. Not to mention the crippling obesity epidemic, of course. But one thing they love more than anything - even more than filling their fat, stupid faces with food - is celebrating a hero. And that's what this film is: A celebration of a true hero. It's just another gritty war film, really, but the true story behind it is pretty fucking tragic.
