Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant..I dont think I've ever met anyone who didn't like this movie..I wouldn't want to be there friend anyway!!
Aliens (1986) - 9/10
If your A) Male and B) Born between about 1975 and 1985 then Aliens is probably your favourite film, though I doubt you'll admit that, the dialogue is limited, its dark, its hardly a feel good film and more importantly the missus/girlfriend/wife utterly hates its. But it has Colonial Space Marines with fucking huge guns arriving on some shit-tip of a planet full of hard-as-fuck double jawed, acid for mother-fucking-blood Aliens. You can see how this will play out, its awesome.
Aliens (1986) - 9/10
This is the film that first opened my eyes to what can be achieved by Hollywood. Having seen this I spent a fair portion of my childhood wanting to be a xenomorph. Breathtaking effects and brilliantly built mood.
