Robocop (1987) - 6/10
This is obviously an 80s classic, and had many a kid, me included, asking our parents for our very own titanium plated body suit for Christmas. Did I ever get one? Did I fuck. So fuck you, mum. And fuck you, dad. There are people in Detroit lobbying to get a statue of RoboCop erected for God's sake! Maybe that says more about Detroit and its residents than it does about the film, but still. Maybe nowadays people wouldn't hold such disdain for the police if there were more badass cyborgs and ED-209s amongst them.
