Shutter Island (2010) - 7/10

I wanted to watch this film sooner, because I was worried someone might tell me about it and spoil it, but like, I've been busy, you know, having a fucking life and shit. Anyway, no-one did spoil it for me. I sort of managed to do that all by myself, by figuring out the ending about half way through. I didn't particularly over-think it either, it just happened. I guess I must be a clever bastard. Shame really, as I was really looking forward to this. Good like, but I'm a little disappointed.

Shutter Island (2010) - 7/10

Oh well, loads of hype and I've gotta admit, I was a bit underwhelmed.. Like most people, I guessed the ending quite early on and promptly blurted it out to the girlfriend, probably spoiling the film for her too.. Defo worth a watch but not the most challenging of movies by any means..

Shutter Island (2010) - 7/10

Another one of those 'must see' movies which once you actually see it your wondering why its a 'must see'. Its not shit, lets get that sorted, starts well but seems to sort of trail off from there. The flashbacks etc are well done, though confusing the first time it happens but it just didnt really grab me at all. I have to tell you I guessed the end about a third in, I know most people who have seen it got it to, its just a little to obvious really. I doubt I'll watch it again.

Shutter Island (2010) - 9/10

This is the best film i've seen this year. Probably one of the best psycological horror films i've ever seen in fact. Utterly horrific in parts, fucked up, some parts mess with your mind so much ya wonder if you're the one going insane! Brilliant twist, won't spoil a thing, I did predict part of the film but still utterly surprised me and left me amazed by the end. Scorcese is one of the best Directors on this planet, his first major horror movie, can't wait to see his next horror!!! 9.5/10.
