I remember going to school the next day and you could just tell those that had been allowed to watch it, the bags under there eyes gave it away, thats what happens when you stay up all night hiding in soul-crushing-mind-numbing terror that "Pipes" will get you. Done years before Blair Witch etc and broadcast "live" to an unsuspecting public, you know who I blame? Michael Parkinson, I mean if he's in it then surely its real, its Parky like, hes trustworthy.... the bastard!

Scariest thing I've ever seen on TV. OK, I was 9 at the time, but I absolutely shat myself. It all starts off as a bit of a joke but before long shit gets hella-scary.

The scariest thing I have ever watched on telly, bar none.. Remember being babysitted by my nan and trying not to show how shit scared I really was..Excellent idea which could never reall be repeated now!!
