The Lovely Bones (2009) - 5/10
Not bad, but not great either. Essentially a film about a girl who is killed and contacts the people around her in weird ways to help try to catch her murderer. Very surreal scenes, not the happiest of films.

The book of this is really good, but unfortunately it just doesn't translate to film. The whole heaven thing just doesn't work, because what you can create in your imagination is always going to be much better than what can be shown to you on screen. I recommend that instead of watching this you go to the library and 'rent' the book instead. And guess what? It's free, too.
