The Green Mile (1999) - 9/10
Told by a veteran prison guard whos life is changed by what happened in one summer, the story of John Coffey , Mr Jingles and Old Sparky, a must see. What can be said about this that hasnt already, awesome story by King converted into a superb film, a very rare thing with his books, owes all that to being faithful (mostly) to the orginal story. Takes you through the whole range of emotions, from sympathy for Delacroix to hatred for that little twat Percy. A true Epic in a world of pretenders!
