Serenity (2005) - 7/10
I saw this many moons before I knew of the whole Firefly series and the fact that it holds a special place in SciFi nerds hearts. I thought it was a great film, amusing, good special effects etc and so worth watching in HD if you can find it still. After watching Firefly recently you can see why it worked so well, good quality geeky scifi fun, worth a watch even if you know nothing of Firefly, if you do then no doubt you have already seen this 15 times at least.
Serenity (2005) - 7/10
I'm not big on sci-fi; things like Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica have never really interested me much at all, and this film is similar to that. It's actually a feature length version of a show called Firefly, so if you like any of those then you will like this. I'm pretty sure of that because I quite liked this and, like I said, sci-fi isn't my thing. I do really like Chiwetel Ejiofor, though; he's just so frightfully British, dear boy.
