I've just re-watched this, and compared to all the other films I've seen it doesn't seem as great anymore. There are very few things that stand the test of time and are as good now as they were back in the day. The whole mob boss concept has been done hundreds of times, most of which I've probably seen, so it needs to be something special to stand out for me, and this, unfortunately, doesn't.

This is my favourite gangster film, my favourite Christopher Walken film and proberly my favourite film of all time..Frank White gets out of nick and plans to take over New York..big mention to Larry Fishbourne aswell ..it doesnt get better than this boys and girls...schooly d does the soundtrack and its old school hip hop at its best.
