This has got to be one of the best war based films I've seen, the acting is excellent, the graphical nature of some of the scenes is almost too real it's uncomfortable, definately needs to be watched.

Beach landing scene is something quite special which has to be seen, even if a little disturbing and very graphic.. Should be shown in all secondary schools as part of history.. Try and make all these ungrateful little shits realise what the grandparents fought for..

One of the best war movies ive seen, Tom hanks and his outfit are sent out to find Ryan whos brothers have all died in the war, parts of the film are so fucking real and graphic and its quite moving, the scene were the German stabs the yank is horrible.
