Up (2009) - 9/10
I'm always excited to see a new Pixar movie. They are the only movie studio in history to bat a perfect 1.000. Out of their 11 feature films, all 11 I would rate 8 or higher. Up, is just their latest masterpiece. One of the best parts of the movie is the opening prologue. We get introduced to Carl and Ellie Fredricksen along with one the most beautiful pieces music you'll ever hear, an award winning instrumental called "Married Life". It's the happiest & saddest song ever composed.

Oh dear, watched this on my own last night.. I actually shed a tear, the first 10 mins of this film are heart-braking.. Good film throughout to be fair.. Brilliant characters, defo worth a watch..

Not bad really, as far as current animation movies go, some funny one liners and the talking dog is classic, (I often wonder what my dog is thinking, now I know), again for the older person probably not the most enthralling Disney/Pixar movie but the kids will love it.

Its a Pixar movie, you either will watch it or you wont. Few things divide the population of the world as animated movies, well maybe marmite, yeah actually, marmite will probably cause World War III.
