Bullet Train (2022) - 5/10
This is not a serious film and I am all about the serious films nowadays. The cast is outrageous so, I assumed, they'd all only agree to be in a film that was very good and in some ways serious. I was wrong. It is far from serious. It is silly, in fact. I have enjoyed silly films in the past but not so much nowadays. In films like these you have to give logic the day off. And logic, for me, rarely gets a day off. Certainly not a lie-in-bed-til-midday then sit-on-the-couch-til-bedtime day off anyway, and that's what happened here. There were enjoyable elements, of course, but the liberties taken were too great for me. The constant twitch of "Really?" was a step too far. You may love it; and good on you if you do. But it's not for me.
