Men (2022) - 7/10
Well, where to begin? How about the fact that apparently people were walking out of the cinema during the last scene because it is so off its tits and gruesome? Or the fact that Rory Kinnear - a superb actor - plays multiple roles? Or maybe that it's written and directed by the same guy who did Ex Machina? If any of that appeals to you, get on it. It is pyschological horror at its very best... But then, the last half an hour happens. And it is a bit mad and, some will say, unnecessary. There is also weapons-grade symbolism throughout but I'm not going to dwell on that too much. I thought it was very good but a different ending would have been nice.
