Manhunter (1986) - 6/10
The first of the Hannibal Lecter films, although Lecter himself doesn't play a big part. Based on the book Red Dragon by Thomas Harris, it details the pursuit of a serial killer by the FBI. Watching this film again now it just oozes 80s, the actors, the music, and everything, and so comes across as quite dated. I also don't like William Petersen much; he's always too corny I think. If you've not seen this yet, then you might be better seeing the remake, Red Dragon, from 2002.

Proper 80's atmosphere about this.. Lead actor is one scary fucker who I would avoid like the plague in real life..

The sound track to this film alone deserves a ten out of ten. The film sucks you in from start to finish and William Petersen is amazing, a must watch.
