This is about how drug traffickers in Mexico are now the rock stars of the country and how musicians are using the infamy that comes with the bloodshed to make money from writing songs about their crimes. It's the Mexican version of gangster rap but it's all too real. People really are being killed and the violence is, and has been for years, out of hand, but, you know, sing about it over a catchy melody and cha-ching!
