300: Rise Of An Empire (2014) - 6/10
Can't believe they ripped off a Vince Lombardi quote to use to motivate the Spartans. Also, Themistocles's Aussie accent kept pulling me out the moment too, which was annoying. However, the scenes are shot at a bazillion frames per second, which means they can slow that shit right. The fuck. Down. And then: BAM! Speed that motherfucker all the way up again, generally when stabbing is happening, accompanied by gallons of blood. It's a Hollywood technique know as ramping and it's fucking awesome. Worth a watch but not as good as the original.
